HICKORY, N.C. — Adult Children of Aging Parents (ACAP) will offer “Finding Balance Before Burnout: The Sensitive, Respectful and Appropriate ‘No’ to Mom and Dad” on Tuesday, April 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Women’s Resource Center in Hickory.
The free program will offer insight into the appropriateness of and need for healthy emotional boundaries between adult-children and their aging parents, and will demonstrate ways to sensitively and respectfully establish and maintain appropriate emotional limits with a parent.
