ACAP Guilford County is the local chapter of ACAPcommunity, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, begun in Hickory, NC in 2013. ACAP’s mission is to provide information, resources, support and community for adult-children as they care for their aging parents and for themselves. ACAP Guilford County joins other ACAP chapters located in Hickory, Statesville and Winston-Salem, NC, and Centre County, PA. Local content experts provide evidence-based information for ACAP programs, and area businesses, agencies and organizations provide meaningful resources each month. Utilizing ACAP’s nationally-validated and copyrighted curriculum, ACAP educational programs address a wide range of issues typically experienced by adult-children and others as they care for older adult loved ones. Although designed for adult-children of aging parents, ACAP programs are open to all, and thanks to sponsors, the educational programs are offered at no cost to participants.

ACAPcommunity is delighted to welcome ACAP Guilford County! We sincerely hope you will join us as the chapter begins to offer meaningful support for Guilford County families.
