Participants will understand communication changes related to Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. They will develop strategies for connecting with the person with dementia by "entering" the persons perspective/view of current reality. They will also develop strategies for communication throughout the course of the disease including the use of gestures, behaviors and use of the senses.

Become more knowledgeable about the services and resources available in the local community--especially as it relates to hurricane preparedness for people who are aging and their caregivers.
