The Aging Toolbox: Practical Tips for Caring for Aging Loved Ones
This program will provide adult-children with practical tips and tools to use for gathering information when visiting aging parents, along with strategies for holding conversations with siblings and other family members about needs and services. In addition, this program addresses practical guidance for hands-on caregiving and when to get additional help.
The Aging Toolbox: Practical Tips for Caring for Aging Loved Ones

This program will assist participants to be more aware of potential issues and to demonstrate the skills necessary to:
- Identify environmental barriers in the home
- Idenfity potential needs for physical, visual, auditory, cognitive, emotional supports
- Put several resources in place
- Provide hands on care
- Put simple and inexpensive resources/modifications to enhance aging in place.
