Finding and Using Senior Services in Your Local Community

The Directors of both the Legacy Link Aging and Disability Resource Center and the Gainesville-Hall County Community Service Center will offer information regarding the many types of services available to address the needs of older adults. They will also provide details on ‘how to’ access the programs. Our goal is to strengthen the ability of caregivers to enhance the quality of life for their loved ones and themselves.

Program Speakers:  Elaine Harkins, MBA, Legacy Link ADRC Director / Phillippa Lewis Moss, MPA, MS

Elaine Harkins is the Legacy Link Aging and Disability Resource Center Director. Elaine possesses an MBA, is a Certified Information and Referral Specialist and has worked with the aging and disabled population10 years. Elaine oversees ADRC intake, options counseling, and eligibility for both in-home and community-based services. ADRC is your access point to community resources.

Phillippa Lewis Moss is the Director of the Gainesville-Hall Community Service Center. Phillippa possesses an MPA and a Master of Conflict Management. The Community Service Center is a jointly supported agency of the City of Gainesville and Hall County. The Center is home to Meals on Wheels, the Senior Life Center, Hall Area Transit, Community Outreach, and much more. Phillippa is also the Administrative Director for the Gainesville-Hall County Community Council on Aging.
