Thank You for Your Service: Veterans’ Affairs Benefits

Many older adults have served in the Armed Forces and may be eligible for and depend on federally-funded VA programs and services. This program will help adult children understand veteran affairs programs that may benefit their aging parents so that they may be more informed advocates for their parents’ health and medical care and service coverage.

Program Presenter: Brian Querry

Brian graduated with a BS in biology from Juinata College. Shortly after graduation, he joined the navy and was commissioned in 1980 as a Surface Warfare, Unrestricted Line Officer. He earned numerous medals during his 26 years of service, retiring from the US Navy in 2006. He is currently the Centre County Director of Veterans Affairs.
