Technology: How it can help in the care of and function of our aging loved ones

Advances in technology may seem irrelevant or too overwhelming to use when you are trying to care for an aging loved one.  There are, though, lots of accessible ways to incorporate technology into our daily lives to assist with caregiving as well as your aging loved ones daily lives to assist with empowering or maintaining their function and independence.  You will leave this presentation with a better understanding of the possible uses of technology for your caregiving or aging journey. Presenters Jackie Biggs and Cynthia Lourie, MS, OTR/L Jackie: President of Your Tech Lady, empowering clients through digital confidence Cynthia: President of EnABLE Home Solutions

Who We Are

ACAP North Atlanta was founded in February 2023 with a mission: to support adults who are caring for aging parents. With one in six Americans serving as caregivers for someone over 50, we understand the unique challenges you face.

At ACAP North Atlanta, we offer a welcoming community where you can connect with others who truly understand the emotional stress, financial burdens, guilt, isolation, and overwhelm that often accompany caregiving.

Our free monthly programs are designed with your needs in mind, covering topics that are directly relevant to your journey. Each session is led by local experts who are passionate about helping you navigate life with an aging parent. ACAP North Atlanta is the resource you didn’t know you needed, providing guidance and support at every stage of your caregiving journey. We’re here for you, no matter where you are on this path.
