ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The keys to the car represent more than transportation — they represent independence, identity, and freedom. But what happens when driving becomes unsafe? And what comes next?
This program gives seniors, adult children, and caregivers the tools, the language, and the local resources to navigate one of the most emotional transitions in the aging journey — with dignity, confidence, and a plan.
Whether the conversation is still ahead of you, or already overdue, you’ll leave with real answers.
YOU’LL LEARN HOW TO:
Spot the early warning signs of driving impairment — before a crisis forces the issue
Evaluate driving skills using proven strategies and available resources
Explore transportation alternatives that preserve independence and keep life moving
Start — and navigate — the conversation with your aging parent or loved one
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU IF:
You’ve noticed something behind the wheel but haven’t said anything yet
You’re a senior who wants to plan ahead — on your own terms
You’re a caregiver trying to balance safety with your loved one’s dignity
You just want to be ready before the moment arrives
